• How to get there: from arrivals follow "Car Parks", take the lift to Floor 1, cross the skybridge, then take the lift up to Level 3.

• Surge pricing: ride-share routinely surges 1.5x–3x during long-haul waves. A surge Uber from T3 to central London can be £85–£130 versus our fixed £45–£60.

The app shows the driver "arriving" but the pin is up on Level 3 — you walk to them. Book a transfer with us instead and the driver walks to you, name board in hand, inside arrivals.

Heathrow Terminal 3 Car Park (Terminal / Short Stay): Costs & Pickup Use

If a friend or family member is collecting you at T3, the Terminal 3 car park — renamed Terminal Parking in September 2025 (signage may still read "Short Stay") — is the practical option. The forecourt set-down lane is drop-off only, no waiting:

• Location: adjacent to Terminal 3 via the skybridge; ride-app collection on Level 3, Row A.
• Pricing (tariff effective January 2026): from about £8 for the first tier, rising through the day to around £98 for 24 hours.
• Enforcement: ANPR cameras on entry and exit — no paper ticket; the registered keeper is billed automatically.
• Best for: quieter off-peak arrivals. Worst for: morning long-haul waves when the car park and arrivals are busiest.

For collectors with mobility needs or heavy luggage, a pre-booked taxi with Meet & Greet inside arrivals is genuinely easiest — no parking, no skybridge with bags, no surge pricing.

Heathrow Terminal 3 Taxi Rank & the £7 Drop-Off

The Terminal 3 taxi rank is on the ground floor of arrivals, on the forecourt outside the main exit — follow the "Taxis" signs. Waits run 5–15 minutes off-peak and 20–40 minutes during morning long-haul waves, and fares are metered, not fixed (typically £75–£110 to central London). Departing from T3, the forecourt set-down lane is for quick unloading only — no waiting, and a £7 charge per vehicle. To avoid the fee, use the free Long Stay car park and transfer bus.
